FOUNTAINHEAD

Interested in learning more about "Fountainhead" on Main Street? Designed by Seyed Alavi in 2012, this whimsical fountain was designed to attract children--definitely a great success!

THE HAND OF PEACE

"The Hand of Peace" by renowned a San Francisco artist Benny Bufano rests in Civic Park as a reminder that "The Children Shall Inherit the Earth." The mammoth piece of art weights in at over 2 tons!

PAINTED PIANOS

Special exhibits include the "Painted Pianos" that dotted downtown in fall, 2019. Dianne had a little bit of fun playing all of them in this rendition of White Christmas!

Bedford Gallery, a program of the City of Walnut Creek, exhibits the work of historic, modern, and contemporary artists. The Gallery is dedicated to providing the public with opportunities to learn about visual arts through public programs that are varied, accessible, challenging, and educational. Its mission is to provide exhibitions and other programs that both reflect and engage the diverse audiences of the entire Contra Costa region.
